I've been trying to lose weight for a few years now. Although I've been consistent with weight training, it's time I got serious about cardio and proper diet.
My goal is to get down to 210 pounds and fit into my 34" waist jeans by the end of the year.
At the beginning of the year, my weight had maxed at 269. Luckily this past spring, a persistent cough killed my appetite for awhile and I lost 8 or 9 pounds and managed to keep it off. So now I've set a real goal and I am committed to reaching it. I started my new routine yesterday, eating right, and doing at least 20 minutes of cardio after my weight routine. I'll gradually increase my cardio.
Today I weighed in at 257.2. 47.2 pounds to go!
